so many other amazing examples of fashion i could post about but for now, i give you this.
was at the mall today (south coast plaza in costa mesa california, which was the beiggest mall west of the mississippi, or so i was told, when i was a kid. i am sure it’s not anymore but it’s rather well stocked. i can hardly make it through the shoe department but i did manage to get me some clothes today. basics. blacks. coated denim. attention to detail.
cute gay sales boy convinced me to try on a marc jacobs dress that i fell in love with (though i appreciate mj i’m not often into his stuff for me, though the black ‘punk’ (to quote gion my personal shopping assistant) with buckles and zippers done with a sharp edge contrasted with a bit of stiff starchy ruffle definitely got me giddy, though i digress) and i went to find a pic online but after clicking through to 5 fashiony sites and getting side tracked longer already than i intended, i post this pic to commemorate the evening’s festivities, ie: me playing dress up at nordies…
i’m inspired though. time to make some dough so i can purchase the dress and time to manifest or create a fabulous gala to wear it to.
can’t help thinking the ever awesome zo, aka the cosmonomad would have given no mercy to the strappy vesty thing i tried on too .. .
